About Dr. Blum:
Dr. Elizabeth (Scout) Blum holds a masters and doctorate in history from the University of Houston. Her main research areas include environmental history and the history of gender and childhood. She is also very interested in game pedagogy in the classrooms - an interest she puts into effect with the college classes she teaches at Troy University in Alabama. Her desire to found a game publishing company came out of her experiences teaching the Game Design Merit Badge for Boy Scouts.
