Dr. Elizabeth (Scout) Blum
President/Director
Dr. Blum teaches American history and game design at Troy University in Alabama. She is the designer of Rising Waters, a game about the African American experience during the 1927 Mississippi Flood, due to be published by Central Michigan Press in 2022.
Dr. Jon Oden
Vice President/Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Oden is Chief of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Obesity within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences/Arkansas Children's Hospital. He works to improve access to health care for children suffering from endocrine-related disease including diabetes, obesity, and gender dysphoria.
Dr. Andrew Peterson
Dr. Peterson is Coordinator of Instructional Technology at Ferris State University in Michigan. He regularly teaches courses on game design for undergraduate students at Ferris State, and has been instrumental in bringing an Esports program to the university. He is the designer of Enrolled, a board game which assists with retention of students at the university level.
Debbie Breckinridge
Ms. Breckinridge is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years experience working with both children and adults. She uses play therapy in her practice, which includes helping children deal with abuse, dysfunctional relationships, anxiety, depression, and behavior problems.
Kathleen Mercury
Ms. Mercury is currently teaching in Romania. She is one of the leading voices in the industry for using games in the classroom. For many years, she taught gifted and talented students in a game design class in St. Louis. She maintains an open access website with numerous resources for teachers using games and game design in the classroom.
